The DTE Energy Foundation Trail is a trail development in the Waterloo Recreation Area. Development of the Waterloo mountain bike trail system is a massive undertaking requiring significant monetary and human resources. Bonfyre Trail Fest is excited to support the Potawatomi Mountain Biking Association (PotoMBA) in their fundraising efforts to support the Waterloo trail system project! A portion of all race entry fees will be donated to the PotoMBA. We are happy to be sharing the trails!

Beer Garden Sponsor!
Karen’s Trail is proud to be a charity partner of the 2019 Bonfyre Trail Festival. Karen's Trail honors the life and legacy of Karen McKeachie - world class triathlete, athletic pioneer, community leader, and a force of nature to all of us who knew her! Karen's Trail celebrates what Karen loved most - active recreation.
Your support will enable a multi-year, 22-mile construction plan, with the goal of completing the Border-to-Border regional trail system. This will be a paved, non-motorized trail that follows the Huron River reaching the borders of Washtenaw County, expanding recreation and commuting options for everyone.
The Karen's Trail project is a campaign supported by the Huron Waterloo Pathways Initiative, a private non-profit organization working in partnership with Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation Commission to develop and expand the Border-to-Border Trail (B2B).
